ABOUT ME

 

Hello! Let me tell y'all a little about myself!



     My Name is Jackie Conley and this is my second year at Union Hill Elementary.

 

    I grew up in California and South Florida, graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Media Studies: Film and Video.

 

     I moved to Texas in 2007 and began working with 2 year olds at a preschool in Cedar Park. This is when I became interested in teaching as a career and took my certification class at ACC.

 

      In 2012, I was hired at Canyon Creek Elementary in RRISD to be a Education Assistant in a Special Education setting. Two years later I moved to Bill Burden Elementary in Liberty Hill, Texas where I taught 2nd - 4th grade Resource as well as oversaw a Behavior unit. In 2017 I was hired as a 4th and 5th grade Functional Academics teacher. I feel like I am truly home now!

 

     When not working, I like to camp, travel, design t-shirts and play trivia. I have a wonderful husband, Ken, an adorable shepherd/lab mix named Nancy and the one who rules the house, my Maine Coon mix, Thomas Riddle.
